How to pause your account temporarily or cancel your Float plan permanently

You can temporarily suspend billing for up to twelve months by pausing your account or cancel your account by deleting your Float team.

Your account owner can find both options in the General tab of their team settings;

How to pause your account

You can pause your account for up to twelve months without losing account data. Your team will not have access to your account while it's suspended. All data will be kept and available to you again once you reactivate the account.

  1. Log into Float as the account owner and click the gear icon at the bottom-left of the page, then Team settings

  2. Click General in the list on the left side of the page

  3. Click the blue button that says Pause your subscription and follow the prompts to confirm

πŸ“Notes:

  • Pausing your subscription happens immediately, however, you will be able to gain access until the end of your current cycle by clicking reactivate.

  • Pausing on an annual cycle does not turn off your billing cycle.

    • E.G. if you have 6 months left on your annual plan and pause your account for 6 months, when you return you will need to re-purchase.


How to cancel your account

If you're sure you'd like to cancel your account, we're sorry to see you go! Your account owner can log into Float and follow the steps below. We will stop billing you, and your team will lose access to Float immediately. Please make sure to export any data you need before you continue.

  1. Log into Float as the account owner and click the gear icon at the bottom-left of the page, then Team settings

  2. Click General in the list on the left side of the page

  3. Click the red button that says Delete team and follow the prompts to confirm
