The Float mobile app streamlines your scheduling and time tracking processes, ensuring you stay connected with your team's activities, no matter where you are. Our intuitive interface synchronizes in real-time with the web version, keeping your Schedule up-to-date with just a few taps.
Scheduling and status updates
Assigning allocations and setting statuses
To add task allocations, schedule time off, or update your status, simply tap on the Schedule or press the Add button (+) located at the bottom right corner.
Creating a new entry
After accessing the menu, you can choose to assign a task allocation, schedule time off, or set a status. Fill in the details and tap Create to update your Schedule.
Searching and sorting your Schedule
Filter or sort your Schedule in the mobile app using the options in the top right corner of the app. Note: To use the custom sort option, set it up first in the web version, as it's not adjustable in the mobile app.
Time Tracking
Logging hours
If your team uses the time tracking feature, access the Logged tab to enter your hours.
To log time, select a task allocation, verify the hours, and click Create.
Tip: To log time for all visible allocations at once, select Log all at the bottom of the Logged tab.
App customization
Adjusting your view preferences
Personalize your Schedule display by navigating to 'Preferences' under your Profile.
Calendar views
You can choose between Day, 3 Day, or Week views and toggle the visibility of weekends.
Notifications and teams
The Profile tab lets you manage notifications and switch between multiple teams.
Receive real-time push notifications for schedule updates.
Additional Notes
Only your individual time is shown on the Logged tab.
Refresh your Schedule with a simple swipe down.
The Schedule becomes read-only if you lose internet connectivity.
Dark mode settings of your device are supported.
Drag-and-drop and right-click tools are not available in the app.
Creating, editing, or deleting people and projects is not possible.
Reports and third-party SSO integrations like Azure AD, OneLogin, and Okta are not supported in the mobile app.
