To change your password, click on your profile icon at the bottom left corner of Float and select Profile settings.
If you’ve forgotten your password and need to request a new one, click the Reset option at the bottom of the login page.
You can also reset it directly at https://app.float.com/reset/request/.
📝Note: Resetting your password is currently not supported in the mobile app.
Didn’t receive the password reset email?
If you were recently invited to Float, make sure you’ve accepted your team invitation first. You won’t be able to reset your password until your account is fully activated.
If you didn’t receive an invitation, check with your team’s Account Owner or Admin so they can grant you access and resend the invite. You can learn more from here.
If you’ve logged in to Float before and still aren’t getting the reset email, try the following:
Check your spam/junk or other filtered folders (Promotions, Updates, etc.).
Confirm you’re using the same email address linked to your Float account.
If you’re on a corporate domain, ask your IT team to ensure emails from Float aren’t being blocked or quarantined.
If you’re still unable to receive the email, please get in touch with our Support team.
Additional notes
To change your password in the Profile settings, you need to be logged in with your credentials. The password reset option is not available if you use SSO or Google Sign-In.
Float passwords need to be at least 12 characters long and include a letter and a number. The maximum password length is 64 characters.
