Projects are the foundation of your team’s work in Float. They group together tasks, people, budgets, and timelines, providing a clear structure for planning, scheduling, and tracking performance, including profitability.
Projects are managed on the Projects page. This is where they can be added, edited, archived, or deleted. You can choose to add projects manually, import them with a CSV, or use integrations to import them from one of the tools you are already using.
Project settings include:
Assigning a color.
Adding project code.
Setting the status to draft, tentative, or confirmed.
Determining whether work is billable or non-billable.
Assigning a client.
Setting editing permissions.
Setting a budget.
Adding project team.
Setting up milestones.
