Your team's time zone

Set or modify your team's time zone

The team's time zone is used to determine:

  • When the weekly schedule emails are sent to your team.

  • When your imported Google Calendar/Outlook events are displayed if Show event in time zone from team setting is selected in your calendar integration settings. 

The Account Owner or any user with Admin access rights can set the team's time zone in Team settings > Work schedule > Time zone. There can only be one time zone per team. We do not currently support enabling individual time zones in Float.

📝Note: Allocations created directly in Float are set to the specific time they are scheduled, regardless of where your team is located (e.g., an allocation set for 2 p.m. displays at 2 p.m. for everyone it is assigned to).
