Need a planning space for future hires? Have tasks that aren't ready to be assigned to your team yet?
Placeholders are perfect for storing future tasks for your team and are easy to drag and drop onto their schedules when the time is right.
Here's how to add a Placeholder:
From the People page, select Add and give the resource a name (e.g., Future Designer, New Hire, Miscellaneous Tasks, etc.).
Select Placeholder from the Type tab, and click Add Person.
Placeholders will not display any availability/overtime hours in Reports and can be excluded from your reporting by unchecking the box at the top of the page.
You can search/filter Placeholders like you do your other resources.
Placeholders appear at the bottom of the Schedule by default but can be moved using the custom sort option.
Time off cannot be scheduled for a Placeholder.
Placeholders can't be set to part-time.
