Do you have allocations that aren't quite ready to be assigned to your team yet or need a planning space for future hires?

Placeholders are perfect for storing allocations that can be quickly dragged and dropped onto a team member's schedule when the time is right.

Select Placeholder from the Type drop-down when adding a new person or editing an existing one.

Additional notes

  • Placeholders are a type of Person at Float and as such are considered a paid seat.ย 

  • Placeholders will not display any availability/overtime hours in the reports and can be excluded from your reporting by unchecking the box at the top of the page.
    โ€‹

  • You can search/filter Placeholders like you can other resources.

  • Placeholders appear at the bottom of the Schedule by default but can be moved using the custom sort option.

  • Time off cannot be scheduled for a Placeholder.

  • Placeholders can't be set to part-time.
