The Slack activity feed helps you stay on top of schedule changes by sending live updates to a Slack channel whenever activity occurs in your Float team.

The Account Owner can turn on the Slack team messaging in the Integrations tab of the Team settings.

​Click Add to Slack and select the workspace to which you want Float activity messages sent. If you are not already logged into your Slack account, you'll be prompted to enter your credentials. Choose your preferred Slack channel and then click Install Float Activity Feed. You will see a confirmation message once the integration is complete, and the integration status will be updated to "on".

After the integration is set up, whenever someone makes any changes to your team’s schedule, a live update will be instantly posted in the selected Slack channel.

​Supported activities include additions or changes to allocation assignments, time off assignments, and adding projects and team members.

1) Open the Configuration settings of the Float Activity Feed app in Slack.

2) Scroll down in the Configuration tab and click Remove App.

​📝Note: The removal process happens in the background and may take some time to complete.

The next time an update occurs in Float, the connection will reset, and the integration will no longer be active.
