Talent intelligence and AI at Float

How AI works inside Float and how you data is handled

Float’s Talent Intelligence (AI) features, powered by Google Gemini, are built to make your resourcing workflows smarter and faster. Designed to be assistive, Talent Intelligence works alongside you—never autonomously, and always with human review. That means your data stays secure and under your control.

Our goal is simple: give you the benefits of AI without introducing risk or complexity.

AI provider and architecture

Float uses AI models provided by Google Gemini, connected securely through a private API.

What this means for you:

  • Your data is not used to train AI systems

  • Your information is not shared with or accessible by other customers

AI is built directly into the Float platform, which gives us full control over how data is transmitted and processed.

We determine exactly:

  • What information is sent

  • How the model is configured

  • What comes back

Only the information required to generate the requested output is shared, nothing more.

Data handling and privacy

Is my Float data used to train AI models?

No. Data processed through our API integration is not used to train AI models.

What data is sent?

We intentionally exclude personally identifiable information (PII) from the data processing. All data is encrypted while in transit.

Is my data shared with other customers?

No. Customer data is logically isolated. Your data stays within your own account environment.

Security and compliance

Talent Intelligence (AI) features are built in alignment with Float’s existing security and data protection standards.

As of April 2026, we’re working towards ISO 42001, the AI Management System certification, which formalizes governance and risk management around AI systems at Float.

Customer control and transparency

Do Float’s AI-enabled features make decisions automatically?

No. AI in Float is assistive. It’s made to support your team’s decisions, but does not operate independently or make autonomous business decisions.

Who owns the outputs?

You do. Customers retain ownership of their data and any AI-generated outputs.

Supporting documentation

Upon request, we can provide:

  • Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
