Send your Float activity to Slack

The Slack activity feed app helps you stay on top of schedule changes by sending live updates to a Slack channel whenever activity occurs in Float.

Getting started

You must be the Account Owner to connect Float to Slack. Select Add to Slack from the Integrations tab within your Team Settings.

Select the workspace you want Float activity messages sent to. If you're not already logged into your Slack account, you'll be prompted to enter your credentials.

Choose your preferred channel and then click Authorize. You'll receive a confirmation message once the integration is complete.

Now, whenever someone makes a change to the schedule, you'll see a live update in Slack.

Supported activities include any additions or changes to allocation assignments, time off assignments, projects, or team members.

πŸ“Note: Select the Add to Slack button again from the Team settings in Float to choose another Slack channel.
